Each person is different and so are the needs. A successful assistive technology solution should always cater to the entire spectrum or should be able to allow modification .This is crucial to ensure that no one is left behind. We believe that in order to bridge the gap in developing accessible solutions and resources for independent living for Adults with Disabilities and Elderly, it is vital to bring together, facilitate communication between the developers and the end users by creating an interactive platform that would encourage research and development in the field of Assistive Technology and Independent living and also focus on individual needs. There are many small scale developers whose inventions and ideas have created an impact on the lives of people with Disabilities. Moving from the era where Assistive Technology meant only mobility aids, in the recent few years, many initiatives are mushrooming that have stretched their horizons beyond mobility aids and started developing assistive solutions that would support daily living activities. We invite research groups, organisations, startups, students, professionals and any individual interested in contributing and developing innovative solutions to come forward to collaborate with us.
